SATURDAY.
There were big plans for Saturday...namely...laundry. I woke up with a headache (like I do everyday) and took a Tylenol. After about 20 minutes, I started feeling funny. I felt like I was drugged. I had taken it with an empty stomach, but nothing like that had ever happened before. Soon, I was too tired to talk and headed to bed. The kids had to finish folding the clothes. Oh, they were helping me before, but now they were unsupervised since Eric was busy in the basement.

This is their version of a job well done.
Yes, this is a pile of towels. Are they folded? Yes. Well? No.

It almost looks like they just threw the clothes in a pile, doesn't it?
By the way, after going over the scenarios of me taking the Tylenol to the pharmacy and having them check it to find out what it was laced with OR going to the doctor because obviously I have something wrong with my liver, I decided to check the bottle. Ooops! I had purchased Tylenol PM by mistake. Duh.
I have to give the kids credit, though. They folded ALL the clothes and even got some up to their rooms. I appreciate their help and their clothes just end up in piles on their floor, anyway, so YAY!!! The laundry is done........until we do this again in a week with another 7 loads.

Here are some photos of Vivi that Eric took that are particularly funny.

"Oh, for the LOVE, quit sticking that thing in my face!"
"Oooh, that was a big one - shouldn't have had those beans!"

"Mmmmm....now I know I shouldn't have had those beans....."

SCREW IT, I SAY!!
I have been disappointed in our lack of true summertime activities. With baseball (and t-ball), we haven't been to a pool or beach. Swimming tires the kids out so much, we've refrained. Yesterday was hot. Too hot to play outside without the benefit of water, so I said screw it. We broke out the boat and the kids swam and played in the pond. Ya know what? Max was no worse for the wear at his game last night.

I realized I didn't have many pix of Ally with Viv lately.

Jay is the one who asks to hold Vivian the most. He really loves his sister (his baby sister - LOL!) Viv is really interacting with them, now. She smiles and coos, which makes the kids laugh.
*The green dot on Jay's shirt is remnants of our morning. We did the "Boogie Woogie Worm Race" at the local library. Jay's worm won, which resulted in a small toy and bragging rights. I was secretly cheering for him - he competed against both Max and Al among others. Jay deserves a win for sure. As Eric puts it, Jay pulls on your heartstrings. He puts up with a bossy older brother who's good at everything he does. He also deals with a younger sister who's also good at everything she does and is a cute little girl on top of it. I love my quiet genius Jaybird!!!

Just a few pix I wanted to share....first of all, this photo is from a dear friend who was on vacation in Florida when Vivian was born. She wrote her name in the sand and gave us a picture. I love, love, love this picture and I'll blow it up and frame it when we decided if Vivi will get a room someday. (ha ha - but not really, we have nowhere to put her)
How many pictures can I take with my kids sleeping next to their baby sister? Apparently, many.

More smiles... and ROLLS!

Holy baseball, batman!! In the past week, we have spent 32 hours at baseball parks and 12 hours driving to said baseball parks. We're..... a little baseball-ed out. However, Viv loves being outside and is a perfect angel while we watch Max's team lose. (What?! They do, but that's a completely different story for a different day)

I decided to get Viv in on the attire for the Bullets. She's now a "Bullets Baby".

If she grows up to be like Max - and she's well on her way with her temperament and "high maintenance" personality - she will one day have a jersey of her own.

Al played t-ball last year and was luke-warm about the experience. Some days she was excited to play and others she would much rather be at home, chillin'. This year when it came time for sign ups, I asked her about a dozen times if she wanted to play. The answer was always no. Okie dokie, then. However, when our friend's daughter's team needed a player due to girls on vacation, Al was all over it.

Now the team wants to put her on the roster for the rest of the season. I asked Al why she's soooo excited to play now, but didn't want to sign up. She said, "Well, I didn't know I'd be on Brylinn's team!!!" Oh. Sorry. I forgot that with girls, it's all about the girlfriends and all..........learning new things every day.

Doesn't everybody vacuum with a baby on their hip??? Well, I do. All. The. Time. I also cook, dust, wash dishes, poor coffee, eat, type on the computer (particularly difficult) and yes, pee, with a baby in my arms. *Am I right, Crissy?!? :)
Vivi is changing so much. Everyday she seems to come up with a new trick. The kids are really digging the smiles.

I keep thinking we'll hear a giggle any day, now. Her smiles are big and hearty!

It's official. Our baby-making days are OVER!!! Eric took it like a man on Friday. Well, took it like a man, then whined like a baby......

We headed over to Adkin's Saturday night for a fish fry and my hubby thought it would be funny to stuff a towel in his pants. Ohhh my aching genitalia.
They were already one step ahead of us and had a parking spot just for him. The bottom line reads..Go Princess Power.

Days with baby......she's only happy when:
1. She's being held (no shocker there - most babies are)
2. She's moving ( just like Max- the faster you go, the happier she is)
3. She's eating (a lot)
4. She's in the van...moving. At stop lights, we have to jiggle her seat.

I strap her to Max. Paybacks are hell, huh kid. This is what Dad and I did with him when he was a baby.

Smile. Worth it (most days, anyway:)

Memorial Day Weekend.
It was out 2nd annual Wright weekend. We bring the whole family to their house (including horses, excluding dogs :( This year there were no traumatic horse-riding incidents, just some pony riding and fishing.

Ally is a fishing QUEEN. She kicked Max's butt as far as size and quantity. She's obviously having fun.
